Knit Fabric
Knitted fabrics are divided into two basic types: weft-knit fabrics such as a hand-knit sweater and warp-knit fabrics such as tricot. The drawback follows in weft-knit when they cut. The materials used in lingerie are often warp-knit fabrics.
· The contraction and extension of Knits depends on rib construction.
· Knits have nap.
· Ribs/wales versus courses.
· More elasticity consists commonly along the course than along the wale.
