Woven fabric is a fabric formed by weaving. It is produced on a loom, and made of numerous threads woven on a warp and a weft. Woven fabrics are shaped by the interlacing of warp (0°) fibers and weft (90°) fibers in weave style or a regular pattern. The unityof the fabric is sustained by the automatic interlocking of the fibers. Weave style primarily controls the surface smoothness, drape (the ability of a fabric to conform to a complex surface), and stability of a fabric. The following are a few samples of some of the more commonly found weave styles
